About Elana:
As the child of a professional dog trainer, I’ve been working with and training dogs since I was big enough to hold the end of a leash and was helping to teach classes by the age of 14. With a strong foundation in household obedience, I began seriously training my own dogs to compete in agility in 2014. Over the past decade, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from many experts in the sport, including several world team members, and have finished Master Agility Champion titles (MACH) with my two dogs, Tinker and Dinah. In 2025, we added Peggy to our pack and we're excited for her agility debut later in 2026. We also compete in Barn Hunt and train for a variety of other sports, as I love playing any game where my dogs have fun! I enjoy helping students improve their skills, while having fun and building connection with their dogs.
